White diet in the first 48 hours

After whitening, the enamel is temporarily more susceptible to pigments. During this period, teeth can easily become stained.

Which products need to be removed

  • carrots, tomatoes, peppers, beetroot, corn, red cabbage;
  • red wine;
  • fruit juices with intense colourings;
  • spices with active pigments (curry, chili, cinnamon, turmeric);
  • coffee, tea;
  • sweet drinks and juices, including Coca-Cola and Pepsi.

Restrictions in the next 10–12 days

After the first two days, the enamel gradually stabilises, but still requires careful handling.

What should be taken into account

  • continue to limit products that stain teeth;
  • avoid very hot food and drinks;
  • avoid very cold drinks to prevent increasing sensitivity.

Special precautionary measures

Pigmented products and harmful habits can negatively affect the results of whitening.

What to avoid

  • substances with dyes in the mouth area (iodine, brilliant green, potassium permanganate, sea buckthorn oil);
  • persistent lipsticks that can leave marks on teeth;
  • smoking, as it reduces the clarity of the result.

Discomfort and sensitivity

After the procedure, temporary tooth sensitivity may occur. In most cases, it resolves on its own.

How to act

  • in case of pain, take 1 ibuprofen tablet;
  • if sensitivity or discomfort persists for more than 48 hours, consult a dentist.

Post-procedure care

Clinical whitening is the first step in smile care. A systematic approach is essential for consistent results.

Recommended procedures

  • clinical whitening — repeat procedure after 24 months;
  • professional hygiene — every 3–6 months to maintain whiteness and gum health.
