2. Pain relief. Local anesthesia ensures the procedure is painless.
3. Tooth isolation. Use of a cofferdam (latex film) to protect the cavity from saliva and bacteria.
4. Opening of the sealed canal with complete removal of the filling material. Access to the root canals and extraction of the old filling material is performed to assess the condition inside.
5. A thorough revision of the canal. Examination of the internal anatomy under a microscope, identification of additional or previously untreated canals.
6. Carrying out canal treatment along its entire length to exclude foci of pathology. Mechanical and medicinal treatment of canals with a special preparation is necessary, infected tooth tissue is removed.
7. Final root canal filling and control of the work using CT. The tooth after root canal treatment is tightly sealed with gutta-percha and sealant, which prevents re-infection. The filling of the root canals is checked using CBCT.
