How Does the Procedure Go?

After an initial examination or x-ray, the dentist isolates the tooth to prevent moisture exposure. Then, a special gel is applied to open the enamel’s micropores.

After that, the special resin (a polymer-based resin) is used to infiltrate the damaged area. This resin is light-cured to harden and reinforce the enamel. As a result, the tooth surface is restored, and the development of caries is halted in its earliest phase — the point at which traditional methods would typically begin removing tissue.

This dental treatment approach preserves healthy structure and is as comfortable as possible, even for sensitive patients, including children.

How Long Does the Effect Last?
